Late last summer i happened to be reading one of my favorite blogs when i came across an opportunity i couldn’t pass up. Pre-order Seth Godin’s latest book and join a new online community called Triiibes. The new Triiibe didn’t disappoint and i was so glad to be in. There were a few fun surprises, and meeting some incredible people that i admire to this day, some i even blogged about because meeting them and learning their story was so inspiring.
However, the true value to any Triiibe that you belong to is what you get and can give – while i have to say i haven’t been as involved in Triiibes as i would like to be (i think i could be there 24/7 soaking in and learning from what everyone is sharing and doing and still want more), i have taken so much value from the time i have spent on Triiibes that i will be ever-grateful to Seth and my fellow Triiibe members.
In late August 2009, i took some of what i learned from the Triiibe and started my educational site for Digital Scrapbooking. My vision of this site had been in my mind for years, but it wasn’t until i joined Triiibes that a clear and simple path opened up to build it. The site now has over 1200 members and receives thousands of visitors every week. It is cool to be doing what I love and sharing it with people all over the world. Triiibes for me is a big part of making that happen.
So on this special day, which incidentally happens to be Seth’s birthday, i am writing this post with a borrowed laptop on my computer-free vacation because i can’t let an opportunity pass by to say thank you to Seth and my fellow Triiibes members. i know i am just one little person, however, as part of the Triiibe i feel like i am a tiny tree in a huge forest of bigger and smarter trees where all i have to do is put a post out when i need help and other Triiibe members respond. I don’t know of anywhere else where you can get that!
Happy Birthday Seth. Thanks for including me in the Triiibe.

it’s you guys who make it magical.
thanks for being there
I love reading your blog. You are so insightful and inspiring. I don’t comment as often as I would like–but just wanted you to know I enjoy it.
The thing I love most about the Triiibe is that they never treat you like a tiny tree. They encourage you to grow. (:
Cheers, Kayla!
Yes, a BIG benefit I neglected to mention!
